For Southern Community Service Executives
Criteria for New Invitees Invitations for attending the Blue Ridge Institute can only be extended by the Board. Recommendations for invitees can only be made by someone who has actually attended the institute.
All invitees must be Community Service Executives in an organization that has human services planning, development, and/or delivery functions.
- This executive by virtue of his/her position should or could impact the human services system in a community, state, or region in the Southern United States.
- The invitees should be the Chief Executive Officer or a departmental executive within a large multi-purpose organization who meets II (a) above.
- Each large multi-purpose organization should be limited to one (1) executive other than the Chief Executive Officer
- Retirees, who while employed met the above criteria and who have been active participants in the institute.
- Community Service Executives who have met the above criteria and been active participants in the institute even though they have moved to another region.
